The Before Shots and the Completed Design – Project 5

IKDO used Ramsjo Red-Brown for a modern kitchen and wet bar design. Cabinet Cost: $7,049.21  (countertop included)

Project Flor Plan

The island became an improvised eating area.

Customer felt that the arched doors were dated.

Customer was unhappy with their ” forced” cooler area

This space was wasted and a wet bar was the best way to utilize it

After moving the fridge there is now more space for storing goods by the stove

Open shelves and a horizontal cabinet were added for unique and modern asymmetric look

Tall pantry cabinets and wall cabinets are used to give the fridge a built in look

Horizontal stacked cabinets with glass on top give the wet bar area a nice contemporary feel

Designed 39″ wall cabinets as bases with 30″ base cabinets for a raised seating area

Adding the sink to the island creates an efficient working triangle between the stove and the fridge

About IKD

IKD began several years ago designing IKEA kitchens for IKEA authorized installation contractors. We've successfully completed thousands of IKEA kitchen designs for every possible range of size, shape, budget and style. We still continue to design for these IKEA contractors, but also serve those IKEA consumers that just want a design or will install themselves. Most often customers want a better quality design than what they can do with IKEA's Home Planner.
